Energy Meridian Tapping – EMT Professional: EMT is a simple tapping technique that re-balances the Chi (energy) that flows throughout the body, to its natural, zen-like state. EMT is often called an acupuncture technique that’s done without the use of needles. Emotions, stressors, pain, fear, illness and many other factors can cause a disruption in how our chi flows through our bodies. Janice has been utilizing EMT during client hypnosis sessions since 2002. In February 2008 she successfully completed the advance training program developed and administered by Dr. Patricia Carrington, Ph.D. EMT successfully treats a wide range of symptoms and conditions that include (but are not limited to) pain, allergies, panic attacks, fears and phobias, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), behavioral issues, learning difficulties and much, much more! EMT is powerful, simple and has been know to relieve virtually any condition, often with immediate results. Hypnotherapist: Janice received her advanced training in hypnosis at the Hypnosis Training Institute of Santa Barbara in March, 2002. She has been working as a hypnotherapist since 1992 with a primary focus on Past Life and Age Regression therapies. She is a Certified Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and attends annual Continuing Education Classes to maintain her techniques at a high level of excellence. Intuitive: Janice has been intuitive since early childhood. In the early years her abilities manifested as precognitive dreams (that always came true within 3 days) and episodes of dejá vu. In 1990, things changed dramatically as her abilities came to the forefront. Her abilities of clairvoyance (sight); clairaudience (hearing); and clairsentience (feeling), assist Janice during readings, Reiki sessions and all forms of her healing work. The psychic aspect of her abilities enhances the healing processes she conducts for her clients. It brings forth important information and insight on what is needed for healing. One of her clients calls this, “The fast-track to healing what ails you!” Reiki Practitioner – Second Degree: Janice has been a Certified USUI Reiki Practitioner since 1996. She is the Past President of the USUI Reiki Center of California – Santa Barbara. In January of 1998 she started the Reiki Program at The Cancer Center of Ventura County – Oxnard, CA (CCVC) for cancer patients and their caregivers. She served as the Reiki Program Coordinator at CCVC for 6+ years. During her tenure, she developed the Reiki Program protocol, standards for practitioners, presented public presentations on Reiki and developed the Reiki protocol for the Reiki Research Study* currently being conducted at The Cancer Center. *This Reiki study was for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. The purpose of the study is to answer the question – Can Reiki improve Quality of Life during active treatment of cancer as measured by reduction of toxicity and side effects of chemotherapy?
